The root cause was the deployment of an incorrect campaign data file, which led to false positive campaign detection. We have since reverted to the right data file and the outbound email flow has returned to a normal state. We also released a new rule that corrected the wrong campaign verdict for all impacted customers during the incident. Similar to our earlier suggestion of repairing Office (see #3 Repair Your Microsoft Office above), perform the same steps except choose to Uninstall. Be aware that you may need your product key if you received one. This option could be useful if you constantly have to wait for Outlook to rebuild its data file when you restart. If you are having issues sending email, this might be due to validation issues with your Microsoft Account. We're aware of an issue where some users see the error message "Your message can't be displayed right now". Microsoft has released a Windows Hotfix file to remove the contacts folder synced by the Teams app. This fix will also lead to a reduction in the total number of contacts on your contact list. We will ensure that all information is retained and only contacts with matching information in all fields will be cleaned up. To check if you have received the fix, review your contact list to confirm duplicates have been removed.

This alias will be added to their account as a secondary alias, with the original 3rd party alias will continue to be set up as the primary. Once this step is complete, the user will land in their Outlook inbox and be able to use all Outlook functionality with this new email address.
